What Napkins Can Be Used to Make A Bunny Ear Napkin Fold?

First, any square napkin will work for this project.

I like to use soft cotton or linen napkins because they work well with this folding technique.

However, even a paper napkin can be used to make a bunny ear napkin fold.

I experimented with both dinner and cocktail paper napkins with success.

How Do You Fold A Napkin Into Bunny Ears

This is one of the easiest napkin folds I’ve attempted. You can easily fold several napkins in a manner of minutes.

Supplies for Napkin Fold

• Square Napkins
• Ribbon or Twine
• Easter Eggs – You can use real, dyed, plastic, or decoupaged eggs.

Bunny Ear Folded Napkins Tutorial – Step-by-Step

# 1 – First, fold the square napkin into a triangle shape.

# 2 – Begin at the peak and start folding the napkin in approximate one-inch intervals.

You should end with a 1 – 1 1/2 inch length of napkin.

# 3 – Next, make a loop by bringing the two ends together and gathering them in the approximate center.

Be sure to have the folded edges facing upward at this point.

# 4 – To secure the loop, lay the napkin on a length of ribbon and tie it.

# 5 – Then turn the napkin over, bring the ribbon to the front, and tie it again.

# 6 – Finally, turn the napkin with the long end upward and fluff the ears if needed. You can add your decorative Easter Egg to the loop if you desire.
