Dirt Road Adventures – Daylight Savings Time

Welcome to Dirt Road Adventures. Are you missing an hour this morning? Whew! Yes, it’s daylight savings time for those states that participate.

Are you for it or against it? Do you think it will be made permanent?

I love it and would be happy to stay on this schedule year-round.

I really don’t like to adjust every Spring and Fall.

I’ve heard the arguments, and I’m not taking sides.

I just need more daylight to keep me happy.

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.

The days are getting longer; even before we changed our clocks to daylight savings time, we had begun to have more time outdoors.

With that came a whole other set of problems.

Our trees have been budding out since February. Therefore, the pollen is terrible already.

Rudy loves all the Spring flowers and doesn’t seem to be bothered by the pollen.

Add wind to the mix, and being outdoors is less pleasant than I’d like.

After one particularly long day outdoors, I woke to one puffy eye and a stuffy nose.

Wow, was that attractive!

So, besides losing an hour of sleep today, I’ve got allergy issues.

But enough complaining… Let’s see what fun stuff happened this week.
