Dirt Road Adventures: Happy Valentine’s Weekend

Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you donโ€™t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.

Hey friends,

I hope you had a wonderful week and enjoyed your Valentine’s Weekend. We don’t traditionally celebrate Valentine’s Day but decided to treat ourselves to a new vehicle this year. It was about time since I’d been driving the same vehicle since 2012. It all began just over a week ago, and we were able to pick up our new ride on Thursday. It’s incredible how long it takes to buy a car. Even without much haggling, it was so time-consuming. Then, the rest of the weekend was spent trying to familiarize ourselves with all the advanced technology. A lot has changed since 2013.

This was one of the reasons we have been looking for a newer model. The advances in vehicle safety are amazing, and we have felt a need to upgrade. However, I don’t know how long, if ever, we will figure out how to operate it. LOL.
