Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.

Hey Friends, can you believe it’s been exactly one year since I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer? What a year it has been!! Lots of tears, prayers, and blessings. I updated my journal by reviewing the year and counting my many blessings.

I had my first hair appointment this past week, and although it’s still very short, it’s semi-styled now. See my new outfit and hairstyle below.

It’s been a year of reflection and learning what’s important. It’s also been a stressful year, and I found myself falling back on some of the crafts and skills I learned in my 20’s.

The stress-reducing benefits of crocheting and other repetitive-motion crafts are well documented. Plus, the satisfaction of creating a project and displaying it in your home is also therapeutic. So I hope you are enjoying my patterns and creations.

I’ve just started to be interested in fashion and makeup again. I’ve been receiving packages and thought I’d share my favorite fashion finds as well as some craft supplies that I’m using to create more projects. • I’m also loving this blue-and-white blouse.
• This white tank and this set of two tank tops (they come in different color combinations) are both exactly what I was looking for.
• These shoe inserts are a lifesaver in the sandals I plan to wear for an upcoming wedding.
• This Gold Metallic Yarn is lovely.
