Dirt Road Adventures: Weekend Wrapup and A Funny Story
Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you donโt miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.

Hey Friends,
We are home from the beach, where we had a wonderful Easter vacation. I hope your week was amazing also! I thought I’d share a little about last weekend and the adventures we had during the week.
First, all the little children were thrilled to see the Easter Bunny in our neighborhood. I got as close as I could without scaring the bunny away! LOL

After all the excitement, we had a delicious Easter brunch at our neighbor’s house. I decided to try my friend Stacy’s Ricotta Herb & Tomato Tart recipe, and it was as good as it looks. We began the brunch with Bloody Marys filled with lots of yummies, including our Candied Bacon Recipe.

Adventures at the End of the Dirt Road
This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.
We had many adventures dining with friends at our favorite restaurants, and we also did a little thrifting. One funny thing happened while we were thrifting. We stopped by The Village, a community of vintage vendors featuring several small shops in a contained area behind the main building. When we first arrived, no one was in the main shop. After some time, a lady arrived and apologized, explaining that someone had lost their keys and she was helping with the search. We continued to move from one small building to the next, exploring all the vintage goodies, when we were approached by the lady who had misplaced her keys. She said that she had retraced her steps in all the small buildings and still had not found her keys.

Thrifted Finds
We had some success at The Village and then at the Habitat ReStore. Here are this week’s finds. My favorite is the little boy concrete statue and the three mini flower frogs that we found in two separate booths at The Village. I found four vintage martini glasses, four small tart pans, and two snowmen at the Habitat ReStore. I have plans for a snowman makeover for next Christmas!
What’s In My Cart
Here is another cute, comfortable, and casual outfit that’s good for any age. Shop the look at LTK. The sweater has a nautical feel and is very soft and lightweight. The cropped pants feature cute side pockets and back pockets, adding to the nautical feel of the outfit. The Anne Klein flats are so comfortable and look great for both casual and dress occasions.

I literally laughed out loud at the story about the missing keys in her handbag. Mostly because your husband knew what kind she had! ๐ Iโll have to ask my hubs if he knows different brand names. Lol.
Cindy
Yes, he is suddenly aware of these name brands and I don’t like it. LOL
It looks like you had a wonderful Easter! And such a funny story about the missing keys! Thank you so much for sharing my strawberry candle project! Wishing you more fun adventures this week!
Missy,
Thank you for stopping by.
That is hilarious Rachel! I can’t tell you how many times that happens to me and my Mom! I carry a lot of work life-home life items so I like to have a big purse but goodness it can be like a black hole if you’re not careful to keep it organized and keys are one of the easiest things to just throw in there and get on your way. Thank you so much for sharing the post on how we made a console table from an old door. I really appreciate it. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead, CoCo
