Dirt Road Adventures – Patriotic Greenhouse Tour

Happy 4th of July!

Today on Dirt Road Adventures I’m taking a look back at all of last weeks adventures and sharing a Patriotic Greenhouse Tour!

You’ll see some of my latest thrifting and vintage finds displayed in the DIY greenhouse decorated for the 4th of July or any patriotic occasion.

I hope you have plans to celebrate today! We are currently at our beach cottage and will celebrate with all our neighbors tonight.

Patriotic Greenhouse Tour

First, I wanted to share a tour of the Greenhouse decorated for the 4th of July.

Last week I found a great American Flag while Thrifting with the Gals and I couldn’t wait to display it in the Greenhouse.

So come on inside.

Vintage Inspired Patriotic Decor

Another inspiration for the patriotic greenhouse was these adorable heart made from a vintage quilt.

Christina at The Halsey Homestead has the cutest items and I was thrilled when she sent me an extra heart to make this cute garland.

They look so cute with the old quilt on the table.

DIY Projects in the Greenhouse

If you have been following along for a while, you know that several items in the greenhouse are DIY projects. The repurposed chandelier and the apothecary cabinet are two of my favorites. Click the lighted areas above for more details.

In addition to the DIY projects, the cute clay saucers in a wooden crate were found on a recent trip to The French Farmer’s Wife Barn Sale.

I also brought home 3 crusty clay pots that were used in France to gather sap. They are perfect for holding plants on top of the apothecary cabinet.

All of the baskets in the greenhouse are thrifted. The one with the blue curls was my most recent find.

The Greenhouse Garden

The small garden is slowly coming along. We have basil, cucumbers, squash and tomatoes so far this summer. I hope to expand the garden over time.

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.

Although I was at the beach for a good part of last week, I did manage to share a couple of posts.

In case you missed it, here is a look back.
