Hey Friends,

As promised, I’m sharing some details from our wedding weekend in Charleston, SC, last week. We had such a good time. The rain and cool weather didn’t stop us from enjoying the food and wedding festivities. By the wedding day, the sun was shining the temperatures were warmer. It was a perfect evening.

We were not able to photograph the ceremony, but I snapped some photos of the venue and the perfect backdrop for a stunning ceremony.

We have known the bride since she was just a little girl and we love this beautiful couple. They are both so sweet, and their love for each other was so obvious. Great wedding.

We got one photo of our group in this gorgeous setting and at Sunsets on Shem’s Creek restaurant, where we had a delicious lunch.

On Sunday, before the wedding, we enjoyed an amazing brunch at Husk in downtown Charleston. Afterward, we explored the historic homes and gardens. The flowers and gardens were amazing.

Healing Journal Update:

I saw my doctor and had my infusion on Friday. The good news is I’ll not be having any surgery anytime soon (hopefully), and my blood work is all back to normal. I have the full details on My Healing Journal!.

Why Didn’t I Think of That?

There are so many wonderful blog posts each week, and I’m sharing some of my favorites with you today.

There are so many creative ideas, and I’m always asking myself, “Why didn’t I think of that”? LOL

Make It & I’ll Share It

Nothing makes my day like knowing I have helped inspire your creativity. Your comments are always welcome, and I love seeing your projects come to life. Here is one from last week.

Lisa Jones shared how she styled my “Sophie” Promise of Spring Cow Print on her mantel.

My friend, Patty, knows how much I love copper, and when she saw this cheese dome while thrifting, she grabbed it and gifted it to me. I love it and really appreciate Patty for thinking of me.

What’s in my Cart

  • I received these candleholders for another project that I’ll be sharing soon. Although they look great as they are.
  • I’m tickled pink with this pencil-thin flat iron. My hair is just long enough to use it, and it helps to control the curls that are starting to show up.
  • This is such a great white button-down blouse for the price.
  • These cute pants are so soft and such a great style. They are so comfortable, so I ordered them in light pink, too.
  • I had ordered a top similar to this white blouse from Tuckernuck, and I was so disappointed with the fabric and fit. Then I saw a similar one from Amazon for a fraction of the cost that fits perfectly, and I love it. I especially love the price difference.
  • I can’t wait to receive this starfish-and-shell necklace.
  • I also received these statement pearl earrings and love them. They look great with this Statement Pearl Necklace.
  • And I’m loving this chain belt. It has a buckle, and it’s super cute.
