How To Make Clam Dip Party Appetizer

Place cream cheese in a small saucepan or double boiler and allow it to melt, stirring constantly over low heat.

Add lemon juice and Tabasco sauce.

Note: I am making a double clam dip recipe in the images below. I’m sharing the original recipe, but it’s easy to double or triple the ingredients for a larger crowd.

Drain all liquid from the canned clams and add clam meat to the mixture. Continue to stir and mix all the ingredients until the cheese has melted and you have a hot, smooth mixture.

How To Serve Hot Clam Dip?

You have a couple of options for serving the clam dip hot or allowing it to cool to room temperature.

If you prefer to serve the clam dip hot, add the mixture to a chaffing dish to keep the dip hot.

However, I place it in a serving bowl, which is delicious as it cools to room temperature.

What To Serve With Clam Dip?

Whether serving the creamy clam dip hot or at room temperature, you will want crackers or bread to serve the appetizer.

Provide mild crackers or naan dippers to serve with the delicious creamy clam dip.
