Dirt Road Adventures-Italian Week

Happy Sunday Friends! It was a busy Italian theme this past week and I have so many fun things to share with you today.

First, some behind the scenes things that happened here at the end of our dirt road.

We are still planning to get back to work on our Beach Cottage Renovations but haven’t made it back down there. I did find the cutest vintage copper fish mold last week at an Antique Mall.

I also purchased this vintage mid century dresser and chest of drawers because the price was amazing. I managed to get the chest painted and will be working on the dresser at a later date.

I used Old White by Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and spray painted the hardware with Rust-Oleum Black. You can see the quick video makeover here.

We have decided to use the chest of drawers in the guest bedroom to provide more storage.

More Thrifting Adventures this week

In addition to the mid century furniture finds, I managed to find some more great deals.

I purchased dishes and a milk glass vase at the same consignment shop where I found the furniture.

I tried to shop at our local GoodWill but the shelves were bare. Then a quick stop at on located in another town yielded the tureen, the ceramic planter, which I’ve already put to use on the Vintage Chest of Drawers above, and a great frame that I’ve already painted.

Rachel,

I LOVE that dresser and am writing a grocery list to try that Limoncello. Yum. Thank you for sharing my spring arrangement. It's sunny here in MI today so I am feeling all the Spring vibes (even though it's 22 degrees). Happy Sunday!
