Dirt Road Adventures: Springtime, Easter Lambs, and A New Cabinet!
Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.

Hey Friends,
Can you believe it’s SPRING! We’ve gone from freezing temperatures back to mid-80’s this week. But I’m so ready for warm weather after such a harsh winter! The crabapple tree is in full bloom, and I’m loving seeing the trees bud out. The pollen, not so much!
The farmhouse is all decked out for Easter, and it’s full of Lambs! I’ve been collecting lambs for a few years, and my collection is growing. Last week, I shared the Fluffy Lamb Cross Stitch pattern, and this week, I’ve been adding even more lambs. LOL! I’m also continuing my “Old School” nostalgic craft series, and I hope you like the latest!
Remember the cabinet I mentioned two weeks ago? Well, I couldn’t get it out of my mind, so I called to see if it was still at the consignment shop. Luckily, it was still there, waiting for its new home. It took Brad two trips to Greensboro to bring both pieces home.
It’s a Jackson Press cabinet, and I’m so glad it was still there. We had to replace the shelf that someone had removed from the upper piece, and I’m still working on decorating it. It will hold much more than the cabinet that was here before. That cabinet is now in the guest bedroom, and another piece that was there is now in the loft. LOL. We’ve been shifting furniture for several weeks since I found my new desk.
I thought you might like to have a sneak peek.

This past Wednesday, I had my first CT scan since December. I’ll not receive the results until Friday, when I have my next infusion. You can see more details on My Healing Journal.
