Can you believe August is almost over and fall is just around the corner? I’ve been adding late summer and early fall ideas, but I just realized it’s time to pull out all the fall decor. In just a few weeks, it will be sweater weather. I am at the beach for a girls’ weekend, and we’ve been having too much fun. Between shopping and dining out, we have laughed and reminisced about previous weekends.
A cute thing happened in one restaurant. A lady came over and asked how long we had all been friends. She said her daughter, who looked to be around 6 years old, had been watching us, and she told her mother. “That’s going to be my 3 best friends and me when we grow up.” It was so sweet.
I’ve received my latest CA-125 results, and I’m still struggling with my arm and shoulder pain. I’ve shared more about our annual KB girlfriends weekend and more early morning thoughts in My Healing Journal.

What’s in my Cart
Getting ready for fall, as well as my upcoming trip, has me gathering new fall fashions.
Some of my favorites are as follows.
- Love, love these suede loafer mules. They are so, so comfortable and so stylish. I had the mules in this cart. But then found I could order the exact shoe on Amazon for less. - I also got this brown and blue striped sweater that is so soft and adorable.
- This skirt is so fun and comfortable. I now have it in two colors.
- It looks adorable with these mesh ballet flats.
- My latest favorite book is a must-read. I’m in the middle of this WWII novel that is really good, too. Both books are fiction but based on actual events.
