Dirt Road Adventures – Fall Is In The Air
Wow, where did Summer go? Welcome to Dirt Road Adventures where I’m sharing a look back at last weeks adventures which include Fall DIY, Fall Crafts, Recipes, Gardening Tips and so much more.
I’m sitting on my front porch and it’s 60 degrees! After relentless 90 degree weather since July, it’s a welcome relief.
Cooler nights have also helped in the garden. Everything looks so much healthier without the continuous heat.

Since Fall is in the Air, I decided to take a morning stroll around The Ponds and document some of the changes we’ve made here since we started refurbishing the property. I shared a video with some before and after footage on this YouTube Video.
I am sharing more DIY Video’s on my channel and have several planned for Fall and the Holiday’s. I hope you will subscribe to my YouTube Channel for more detailed tutorials.

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.
Although it was hot at the beginning of the week, I began sharing some Fall DIY Projects with you.
It’s really never too early to start planning your fall projects because if you blink you are going to miss these last days of summer.
I pulled out all my fall bins and started putting away the summer containers this past week.
Do you remember how I know what’s in each bin? Well I can’t remember so I shared this great app that helps keep me organized and aware of what I have available from season to season.

Fall DIY Projects to Make Right Now
It was a week of Fall DIY projects to help you get a head start on Autumn Decorating.
I saw these cute napkin rings on Pottery Barn’s website and decided to try making my own. This version turned out better than I could have imagined.
All the supplies and tutorial are available on this blog post.

Next, I loved how these Napkin Decoupaged Pumpkins turned out. This is such an easy way to update Dollar Tree Pumpkins for a boutique style fall decor.

Thursday I joined some of my favorite bloggers to share our favorite fall DIY projects. I shared my Drop Cloth Hand Painted Table Runner’s and you can see all the projects on 9 Fall DIY & Craft Ideas.

Finally, on Friday I shared the easiest way to add decorative flair to your home decor by making DIY Tassels. This tutorial is for Jute Tassels, but I included some of the other ways to use and make tassels in your home this fall and holiday season.

Stay tuned for more budget friendly Fall decorating and DIY ideas.
