Dirt Road Adventures: Almost Spring At The Ponds
Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.

Hey Friends,
It’s beginning to feel like Spring here at the farmhouse. The daffodils and forsythia are in full bloom. We had to turn the air on because it was so warm, and we had some beautiful sunny days. I hope you are having some relief from all the winter storms.
I’ve been in project mode all week, and I’m still working on several ideas at once. I want to get all the Easter projects completed asap. We will be visiting friends next weekend, so I want to get my house in order before we leave. Let’s see how that works out. LOL!
We also did a little shopping after my infusion in Greensboro, and I found a piece of furniture that I’m still debating about purchasing. It’s a really great piece, but someone removed a portion of the shelf, and I’d want to replace that. I can’t decide whether I need it. It would have to replace another piece in the bedroom, and I’m torn. I wish you could tell me what to do!! I’ll keep you informed.
I’ve had some issues related to the Zejula medication this past week, and on Friday, I had my third infusion. My blood work was good except for the CA-125. You can see all the details at My Healing Journal.

There are so many creative ideas, and I’m always asking myself, “Why didn’t I think of that”? LOL
- I love this DIY Hobnail Vase that KariAnne shared. I’m searching to see if I have any supplies left over from my Nobnail Lamp so I can make one.
- I’ve been wanting to make one of these, and Cindy’s tutorial for a mini-Bee Skep looks easy to follow.

Diana,
Yes, I agree. I always have more ideas than time. Yes, our weather has been a roller coaster. But Spring is coming! Have a blessed weekend.
Thanks so much for including my St. Patrick’s
Day tablescape!
And I love the bird finial DIY.
Michele,
You are very welcome and have a blessed week.
I was reading this today and was so surprised and excited to see my little Bee Skep tutorial on the list. Thank you so much! And I love the little bird finial on your lamp. I added some magnetic teacups and birds to our door hinges a while back and have waited to see if anyone noticed. NOT YET! I love the littles. Happy Monday friend!
Cindy,
You are so welcome and thank you for stopping by.
Dear Rachel, Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite Bible verses. Keep it in your mind. You’re still on my prayer list.❤️ I sure wish you well.
That’s such a lovely photo of your forsythia. I can’t wait till ours in Ohio get to that stage. We’ve been happy to have 50°and 60° days with sunshine. So nice to have fresh air coming in with windows open!
Take care and God Bless,
Bonnie
Bonnie,
Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. It means the world to me. We warmed up over night and then had another cold front move in. But Spring will be here soon. I hope you have a blessed week.
