Dirt Road Adventures – Summer Heat

Hey friends, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures. I’m so glad you stopped by. Each week on Dirt Road Adventures, we take a look back at all things happening on the blog, some behind-the-scenes and inspiration from around the web. Plus… what about this summer heat??

Whew, it has been hot.

Who’s ready for fall?

I don’t like to wish my summer away, but a little relief would be nice

However, the summer is flying by, and in the blink of an eye, it’s going to be Christmas.

Speaking of which, stay tuned for Christmas in July on Tuesday, July 25th. I have a group of 17 Bloggers sharing holiday inspiration to help you start planning ahead.

We did get a brief break from the extreme heat yesterday, and just in time. See why!

Adventures at the End of the Dirt Road

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.

I did a little thrift store shopping this week and spent a whopping $4.50. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the small vintage milk bottles, but I see them on a table in the future. The two silver goblets will be added to a set I found earlier this year. I’m thinking ahead for the holidays when I look at them.

We experienced a brief cool-down on Saturday, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

We had friends over for an outdoor dinner party and some pool time. The weather was perfect, and Brad was able to grill without burning up.

I’ll be sharing some of the fun table ideas on our monthly Supper Club series on Thursday.

In other news, I went grapevine hunting and found plenty to use on my table.
