Dirt Road Adventures: Fall Inspiration & A Roller Coaster Week of Post Surgery Recovery
Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.
Hey Friends,
Fall is in the air, and I hope you are enjoying my new blog posts, along with some old favorites.
It’s been a roller coaster of a week in my post-surgery recovery. First, my kidney function has returned to normal after discontinuing ibuprofen, but the blood in my stool hasn’t completely disappeared. I have fluid in my right lung that we are hoping will diminish on its own. And my chemo treatment was cancelled due to the bleeding & slow healing of my colon. After three visits to Wesley Long Hospital this week, I’m ready for things to slow down and all my post-surgery issues to be behind me. You can read more about my journey at My Healing Journal.
