Hey Friends, Summertime has arrived here at The Ponds Farmhouse. The pool is open, and Brad has been working like crazy, replacing outdoor lights, pressure-washing the outdoor furniture, and balancing the pool water. I’m finally well enough to resume my daily walks and I’m feeling stronger. I spent most of the week transitioning the farmhouse from spring to summer decor. I also had a girlfriend day out, which included shopping and lunch at our favorite go-to spot in Greensboro. It was our first shopping trip since before Christmas, and much needed. Next week, I’ll have another CT and see my oncologist for the results. You can see more details on my Healing Journal.

Nothing makes my day like knowing I have helped inspire your creativity. Your comments are always welcome, and I love seeing your projects come to life. Here is one from last week.
I was so excited to get a message from Leah Warrick about how she loves using found treasures to decorate and getting DIY inspiration from my blog posts. You may remember she recently shared her DIY Terrarium similar to mine. She sent me several images, and I wanted to share her antique cabinet, decorated similarly to my Thrifted Spring Decor: How I Styled An Inspired Vignette With Budget Decorations post. Leah created a similar look but with her own personal touches. Don’t you love her concrete swan?
It’s always fun to connect with friends across the country who share a love of thrifting, DIY, and decorating. Thanks for sharing, Leah!
