Dirt Road Adventures – Prepare For Easter

Happy Sunday and Welcome to Dirt Road Adventures – Prepare for Easter.

Can you believe Easter is next Sunday?

I’ve gathered some of my favorite ideas to help you prepare for Easter entertaining next weekend.

I’m also sharing some of my thrifted finds, DIY projects, and Spring decorating ideas.

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.

Last week was filled with DIY projects. I’m working on my Spring porch and wanted to add some color. Since I couldn’t find a rug that I envisioned, I decided to make one.

In addition, working on the rug inspired a recycled pillow idea.

After I finished my projects, I had a fun girl’s day out with my good friend.

We shopped at a few thrift stores and had a delicious lunch at the Saxapahaw General Store. You may remember when Brad & I discovered this out of the way, 5 Star Gas Station.

Brad & I also made a road trip to the Carolina Pickers Festival and wore ourselves out walking from vendor to vendor. We were totally unprepared for the number of vendors.

However, I’m sharing all my thrifted purchases today.

In Case You Missed It

See the Before and After of this Amazing Furniture Transformation. A $40.00 Thrift Store Chest transformed into a card catalog chest.

Next, I shared this Spring Vignette in the She Shed for our monthly Pinterest Challenge. To shop this post, check out these resources.

Another DIY Project for the Greenhouse/She Shed was this cute Terra Cotta Spring Wreath. See Resources for Wreaths and She Shed Porch decor.

I’m also working on my Spring and Summer Porch Ideas and decided to make a budget-friendly DIY Painted Rug and an Eco-friendly, recycling pillow project.

See Resources for DIY Rug and Pillow Project.

Why Didn’t I Think of That?

Each week, there are so many wonderful blog posts, and I’m sharing some of my favorites with you today.

There are so many creative ideas, and I’m always asking myself, “Why didn’t I think of that”? LOL

Prepare for Easter

With Easter just a week away, I thought I’d share some ideas to help you prepare for Easter. These ideas will help you with your Easter Table Decorating for a fun Brunch, Dinner, or Lunch.

Table Setting Ideas for Easter

I found many creative table ideas, and I know you will find inspiration for all your Easter entertaining events.

Thrift Store Finds

Y’all know I had to bring that cute Bunny Planter home, and it looks perfect on the front porch! In addition, I found a few other items to complete my thrift store shopping week.

The vintage light fixture is headed to the beach cottage, the small copper scoop has been added to my DIY Spice Rack, and the breadboard has been added to the DIY Plate Rack.

You may see the brass napkin rings on an upcoming tablescape.

Rachel, Your Sunday posts are chock-a-block full of goodies! Also thank you so much for featuring my Easter tablescapes. I also loved seeing that vintage lamb cake mold. My mother would make one every year for Easter and now I do the same. Such a beautiful tradition. Happy Sunday, sweet friend.
