Dirt Road Adventures – Fall Vibes & Surgery Recovery Progress
Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.
Hey Friends,
It’s been another hard week here at The Ponds. Rachel’s recovery is much slower than she anticipated. She thought she’d feel like taking over the blog again and maybe even work on some decorating ideas by this point.
I have placed some of the decor back on the walls, but for the most part, the shelves and tabletops are bare. You know she feels bad if she isn’t interested in decorating every inch of the farmhouse. For now, we are simply enjoying the freshly painted walls and ceiling and praying for improved health.
Fall is in the air, with cool mornings and crystal-clear views of the ponds. Summer flowers are fading, and fall plants are starting to shine. We are taking small walks two to three times a day, and the weather has been very nice.
A friend shared this scripture with Rachel this past week and she wanted me to share it with you.
Isaiah 45:3 “And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the LORD…”
