Christmas Ideas for Farmhouse Kitchen Holiday Tour
Are you looking for Christmas ideas for decorating the farmhouse kitchen this holiday? Join me as we tour the Christmas Kitchen decorated for the holidays.
This year’s Christmas decorating focuses on budget-friendly and sustainable ideas for 2022, including vintage copper, natural greenery, and DIY projects for a cozy country farmhouse Christmas!
Today is the first of my Christmas Home Tours for 2022. I look forward to sharing the living room, industrial loft, bedrooms, porches, and greenhouse tours in the coming weeks.
Ideas for Farmhouse Kitchen Holiday Tour
Everything I used to decorate the Christmas Kitchen this year focused on DIY, foraged, and sustainable materials. Almost everything has been used previously or repurposed to save money.
In addition, many of my thrift store finds and vintage copper pieces take center stage.

Bloggers’ Best Christmas Home Tour
Today I’m excited to join Kelly at The Tattered Pew for her annual Bloggers’ Best Christmas Home Tour. Each day this week, you will be able to tour seven beautifully decorated homes from around the country. There are 35 homes represented, and you’ll want to check back daily to follow along on the tours.
If you are joining me from Robyn at Robyn’s French Nest, welcome. Don’t you love Robyn’s neutral vintage decorating style?
I hope you will enjoy the tour, and if you are new to my blog, Iโm glad you stopped by.
I love to decorate my Industrial Farmhouse in a curated style by combining new, vintage, thrifted, and DIY decor. If youโd like to know more about my journey, click here.

The Farmhouse DIY Kitchen Island Centerpiece
The DIY Kitchen Island is the focal point of the farmhouse kitchen. The generous 6 x 7-foot surface allows plenty of work space with enough room for a stunning centerpiece.
The centerpiece is made using a vintage French Cheese Board, vintage copper, natural cedar, dried oranges, and repurposed Dollar Tree Ornaments.
In addition, heirloom brass bird salt and pepper shakers, antique copper containers, and a faux mini Christmas tree help to fill the large cheeseboard surface.

To complete the centerpiece, a DIY Dried Orange Garland is mixed with white Dollar Tree jingle bells and is nestled among foraged cedar stems surrounding the base of the cheese board.
The white bells were initially purchased to decorate the industrial banister a few years ago. This year they have been repurposed by removing the faux greenery and stringing them on jute twine.

In addition, a thrifted toolbox is filled with wooden kitchen utensils and candles, and another tree is decorated with mini-Christmas-shaped cookie cutters and a dried orange garland.
The farmhouse kitchen is filled with vintage finds, including the roadside find, repurposed pantry door, and two vintage gas station lights used over the island.

DIY Fresh Cedar Garland with Bells
The large window over the kitchen sink is draped with a real cedar garland mixed with dried oranges and white and copper jingle bells. All the bells were originally white, but every other one has been spray-painted with copper spray paint to mix with the copper pots.

The garland is made from freshly gathered cedar from our property. I shared some tips on creating a fresh greenery garland on the secret to making fresh cedar garland.

One of our latest projects is the DIY Pot Hanging Rack. It is filled with vintage copper cookware, which adds a warm and cozy farmhouse feel and draws attention to the dried oranges and bells on the cedar garland.

In addition, the bottle drying rack is now filled with holiday coffee mugs.

Open Shelving Farmhouse Kitchen Ideas
Another feature of the farmhouse kitchen is the open shelving. Although the shelving is new, a distressing technique was used to age the wood.
This year the shelves are decorated with thrift store finds, foraged pinecones, and DIY projects for festive Christmas decor.

Ideas for Farmhouse Kitchen Dining Area
The kitchen and dining room are all one big room, so I’ve included the dining area on the kitchen tour.
We have many questions about the tongue and groove ceiling. Although the wood looks reclaimed, it’s new, painted with a distressed whitewash technique.

Industrial Farmhouse Style Kitchen & Dining
The farmhouse industrial style extends to the kitchen island, which has industrial pipe details and includes bar stools constructed from metal and wood.
You can also glimpse the repurposed card catalog wine bar tucked underneath the staircase and surrounded by industrial beams.

Christmas Kitchen Dining Area
I love setting the dining table with seasonal tableware; however, this year’s table is neutral. Natural greenery, gold, and white details are combined with a DIY centerpiece and natural greenery plate wreaths.

In addition, many items are thrift store finds, including the white ironstone tureen centerpiece, gold plate chargers, green water goblets, and wine glasses.

Check out Simple Christmas Breakfast Table Setting if you want to see more dining table details.

The corner of the dining area has a DIY Plate Rack and hutch. The natural woods and whites don’t need a lot of adornment; therefore, only a few festive touches have been added.
Dried hydrangea blooms fill a vintage dough bowl, and vintage shiny brites are displayed in an ironstone bowl and on the faux tree inside an old crock.

Thanks so much for staying until the end of my tour. Next, you will enjoy seeing my friend from Supper Club, Jennifer, at Midwest Life and Style. Her old world, red and white theme, is stunning.

Itโs lovely Rachel! If you donโt mind painting the cookie cutters on the little tree, they too would be real cute in the white and copper. It would also draw down from the copper and white in the window decorations. Iโm curious and loving those trees on your dining table!! Iโm going to check to see if you have a DIY for this on here but if not, I would love to know how you made those, they are so darn cute! Happy Holidays!
