Instructions for a Bow Tie Napkin Fold
Begin with you napkin flat on the table with the right side down.
Then fold the napkin into a triangle.
Now fold the point of the triangle up, just past the center of the triangle.
Then fold the straight edge down to cover the point.
Now fold the straight edge down once again and turn the entire napkin over. You are now ready to fold a napkin into a bow tie.
How To Fold A Napkin Into A Bow Tie
For this next step, fold one end of the napkin over the top of your folded napkin. The amount folded should be more than 1/3 of the folded napkins length.
Next, fold the other end of the napkin over the top with approx. the same length as the first fold.
Gather you napkin ring and pinch the napkin in the center. Work the napkin into the ring until the ring is at the center of the folded area.
Finally, pull the tails down. One tail is exposed already and the other will need to be pulled from inside the fold.
