Dirt Road Adventures - Memorial Day Weekend

I hope y’all are having a blessed and wonderful weekend. We are celebrating at our beach cottage so this is a short look back at last year and last week.

This week on Dirt Road Adventures I wanted to take a look back at last year during Memorial Day. Last year, we also spent the weekend at our beach cottage, after working all month to finish our DIY Greenhouse. It’s really hard to believe that was just last year.

Because my husband was working from home and his business was basically shut down for any travel, we were able to complete the Greenhouse during the month of May.

Although this year wasn’t as busy, we still managed to get several projects completed.

This was my Instagram post for Memorial Day last year. The photo was captured just before we left for the beach.

DIY Greenhouse She Shed — I love this view because you can see the rock wall that surrounds our farmhouse. Did you know that the wall was built using field rock which was gathered by hand around our property. My dad and brother’s built the wall over 50 years ago. Growing up it was a parking lot. Now it surrounds our forever home.

This was by far our most challenging DIY project and I hope you like the results.
