Dirt Road Adventures – Beach Week
Hey friends! Happy Sunday!
We have spent the week at the Beach Cottage to finalize all of our renovations for the time being.
It was so exciting to look back at all the before and after photo’s. This was my favorite!

If you missed seeing all the details, including the before and after photos, of our 460 sq. ft. Cottage Renovations, click here.
While we were at the cottage this past week, we were fortunate to spend some time with our friends and I even got some Thrifting with the Gals accomplished.
My friend and I went to a new (to me) shop, Junky Monkey in Wilmington. I found several pieces for the beach cottage as well as a few for the farmhouse. The copper pitcher and brass sail boat were especially fun finds. However, the crock was probably the best deal of the day.
Then my husband and I stopped by the Habitat ReStore and found a cutting board, vintage grater and vase all for only $6.00.

While my husband and I were on our daily walk, I discovered this crate in a construction dumpster. Fortunately it was very light weight and we were not far from the cottage because home with me it came.
Can you guess how I plan to use it?
What would you do with it?

Finally, I enjoyed a fun a girls lunch date with more friends from the Wilmington area.
Just look at the view we enjoyed while dining at The Sailfish Fish Seafood Restaurant in Wilmington, NC

The meal was delicious as well.
And of course, we enjoyed a little more retail therapy before heading back to the beach house.

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.
Although I wasn’t on the Dirt Road this past week, lots of things were happening here on the blog.
In Case You Missed It
I started with the Pier Refresh featuring new cushions and accessories from the Christmas Tree Shops.

Then I shared How to Fold a Napkin into a Bow Tie and these adorable DIY Burlap Napkin Rings made from scraps.

And of course the completed Beach Cottage Renovations.
