Dirt Road Adventures – Another Girls Beach Trip

Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures – Another Girls Beach Trip. Each Sunday, we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures.

With fall fast approaching, we had to squeeze in another girl’s beach trip, and we barely made it.

The weather was perfect when we arrived, and we were able to spend time on the beach, a little shopping, and perfect outdoor lunches.

However, on Friday morning, we were rushing to outrun tropical storm, Ophelia, rushing to the shores of North Carolina.

All the girls scattered, and everyone made it home with little more than a sprinkle of rain.

Adventures at the End of the Dirt Road

This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.

We began our trip at our beach cottage and ended the trip at Sunset Beach, NC. This was my first trip to my friend’s home at Sunset Beach, and I loved the area.

We enjoyed visiting Host and Graze. It was the perfect little wine and charcuterie shop, and the owner, Lindsay, was just adorable. You’ll want to stop in if you are ever in the area.

In Case You Missed It

Thrifted Finds

I added a new, perfectly imperfect book and a deer skeleton antler to my vintage collection.

So glad you guys all had a chance to get together and there wasn't too much damage from Ophelia. I swear I will be SO glad when hurricane season is over. Thank you so much for sharing my simple pumpkin DIY. I really appreciate it. It's been a SLOW and LONG recovery from Covid and Strep so it was such a sweet surprise. Big hugs and thank yous, CoCo
