How To Make A Small Gift Triangle Package

I love using Kraft paper, cardstock, and scrapbook decorative paper to create unique, triangle-shaped small gift packages. This fun idea will elevate your small gift and is quick and easy to make.

Step 1: Using a 12×12-inch square of paper, divide the reverse side into nine equal squares.

Step 2 – Draw the design on paper using a small plate or other circular object. Find the center of each square and position the plate to draw a half circle. Cut out the design.

Step 3 – Draw a fold line on each side of the four sections. Use a ruler to place it at the peak of each section and align it with the corner of the previous section. Draw a line on both sides of the sections. Also, punch a hole at the top of each peak, leaving enough room from the edge so that the paper doesn’t tear.

Step 4 – Fold each section along the fold lines, then fold the section along the bottom line to form a flat bottom.

Step 5 – First, add your package to the bottom of the triangle and run a ribbon through all four punched holes. Then tie the ends together with a bow.

How To Create Pockets With Gift Wrap Tutorial

For another unique gift wrap idea, create pockets at the front of the package to hold greenery, ornaments, gift tags, and more.

Step 1 – Place the package on the back of the paper, top-side up, and fold the paper over the top, leaving a small opening at the bottom. Allow the underside of the paper to extend just enough to cover the side of the box, and the sides long enough to fold over the top of the package.

Step 2 – Fold the side of the paper agaist the box and cease to create two triangle shapes.

Step 3 – Wrap the top triangle over the top of the package.

Step 5: Repeat the folds on the opposite side of the box, then wrap the top triangle over the box and cover the first one.

Step 6 – Now wrap the two bottom triangles over the top of the package and secure.

Step 7 – Finish the package by folding the paper over the bottom end. Secure with tape.

Finally, fill the pockets with greenery, ornaments, and gift tags to create a lovely and exciting gift package.
