Hey friends, and Happy 4th of July Weekend. We’ve been on vacation all week, and it’s been so relaxing. We celebrated the 250th birthday of our wonderful country last night with all our beach neighbors. It was a fun evening as always.

I made my favorite Peach Crostini Appetizer, and everyone brought food for our annual clam bake. Needless to say, we ate too much!

I’ve been enjoying my time here by walking each morning, and I’m finally back up to 3 miles a day. You can catch up on My Healing Journal for more details.

Why Didn’t I Think of That?

There are so many wonderful blog posts each week, and I’m sharing some of my favorites with you today.

There are so many creative ideas, and I’m always asking myself, “Why didn’t I think of that”? LOL

• Stacy’s post about garden flowers vs. florist flowers was so helpful.
• I’ve always wanted to visit Martha’s Vineyard, and I loved learning what to do there from KariAnne’s helpful tips.
• I really love CoCo’s creative planning pages and her tips for making the most of them.
• A favorite stop on our England Vacation was Ogunquit, and my friend Jennifer’s article about Marginal Way makes me want to go back. You can see more about our wonderful trip from Boston to Bar Harbor.

What’s in my Cart

• My favorite summer dress is the blue-and-white striped two-piece I’m wearing for the 4th of July. It is comfortable and comes in several color options.
• The red sandals are also surprisingly comfortable.
• I added this cute vest to my cart.
• This shell necklace was a bit of a splurge, but so worth it.
• We also just ordered this Ninja Air Fryer/Toaster Oven for the beach cottage. It’s now 50% off.
