What is a Mojito Mocktail?
A typical mojito cocktail includes rum. To create a mocktail, remove the rum and replace it with ingredients that still deliver a fresh, fruity taste without the spirits. There is no alcohol in a mocktail, but the remaining ingredients still create the look and taste of the original cocktail.

How To Muddle Blueberries and Mint
The first step is to muddle the fresh blueberries and mint.
- Place the mint into the tall glass and use the muddler to smash the leaves, releasing the mint flavor.
- Then add the blueberries and use the muddler to smash them and mix them with the mint leaves. Ensure that all berries are thoroughly smashed.

Add Additional Ingredients
Once you have muddled the mint and blueberries, add the lemon juice. Then add the secret ingredient that makes this mocktail so tasty. I’ve been making homemade flavored simple syrup recipes, and they are the key to tasty non-alcoholic drinks. Add 2 tablespoons of the homemade mint simple syrup and stir to infuse a mild, fresh mint flavor into the mocktail. To finish, add ice and top with club soda. Stir to mix well.
