Dirt Road Adventures – Mid April Ideas

We traveled home mid week after a great beach trip for Easter.

It always feels good to be home, however there is so much to catch up on.

Lot’s of yard work to be done as well as catching up on all my projects.

We were excited to come home to some Spring Blooms and I thought I’ll share a few with you today.

The irises are stunning this year.

Even the chives are showing up with their beautiful blooms.

The knock out roses are just starting to bloom.

Can’t wait for everything to be in full bloom.

What’s blooming in your area.

Thrifting this past week:

I found a few fun items this past week.

One is the cute pig cutting board which brings my collection to four so far.

The Vintage Oyster Shucking Knifes were a steal at Habitat ReStore.

I also found a great Handcrafted Basket Vase that you will see on Tuesday for our Monthly Pinterest Challenge. I can’t wait for you to see that find.

See Antique Candle Co’s Spring Scents here.

Rachel, I love your yellow irises. I only have the blue and white ones. Everything is blooming right now as it is the prettiest time of year here in the southwest. I think we are having one of the best springs yet. Thank you so much for sharing my pool house re-do. I hope someday you will be able to come and stay there! And I now need to find a pig cutting board as I don't have any! I need to come thrifting with the gals in the east. We don't seem to have as many great finds out here. Happy week, my friend!

Our hydrangeas are super close to blooming and I can't wait. LOVED your fabulous lamp tutorial. You constantly blow me away with your creativity! Big hugs, CoCo

I am a new subscriber and the posting about Wilmington was a gift! My son recently moved to North Carolina and looked in that area for a home. Ultimately he ended up in Raleigh area because of my daughter in law’s job. I told my son the next time we visit it’s off to Wilmington we go. Thanks to you I have a list of places I want to visit!!!
