Dirt Road Adventures: Christmas In July Week, and Chemo # 4 Week One
Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.

Hey Friends,
Can you believe Christmas in July has come and gone? That’s just about how fast the Christmas season is going to creep up on us. I hope you enjoy all the Christmas inspiration that we shared last week. You can see all the recap below if you missed anything.
It’s been a crazy hot week in the south, and most of the things happening behind the scenes are costing us money! We had an air conditioning repairman visit the house, and it seemed to be a minor issue, but the unit is still not cooling properly. So I guess we will have to have them back out. Additionally, something in the pool was struck by lightning, and repairs will be made on Monday (Ka-Ching ). Finally, we got a quote for repainting all our shiplap and ceiling (Ka-Ching, Ka-Ching)! The old saying “when it rains, it pours” is true. And by the way, we really do need rain. LOL
I’m lying low this weekend after recovering from my treatment #4. Although I didn’t have as much pain this round, I still had low energy levels most of the week. Now that I’m in my isolation period, there’s not much more to report behind the scenes. I’ve been at home since last Sunday and haven’t been about to go thrifting or anything else exciting.

Adventures at the End of the Dirt Road
This is a look back at all my adventures this past week.
I’ve been enjoying my volunteer flowers. I didn’t plant any, but Mother Nature filled the beds with glorious zinnias. The bees and butterflies are enjoying them, too.

It’s been a week filled with early Christmas preparations on the blog. I hope you enjoy all the inspiration. Additionally, I shared some thrifted container arrangements on Saturday. Enjoy!
