Cook Bacon in a skillet until crispy. Crumble and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine tater tots, bacon, and shredded cheese. Toss
Add mixture to a large rectangle greased baking dish.
In another mixing bowl, add eggs and whisk.
Add milk and dry Ranch mix.
Whisk together until you have a smooth mixture.
Pour the milk and egg mixture over the tater tot mixture in the baking dish.
Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in a preheated oven at 450 degrees for 30 minutes or until the mixture is set in the middle.
Use a knife or toothpick to check for firmness in the center of the dish.
If preparing ahead of time. Place the covered dish in the refrigerator for up to 2 days before baking.
Remove the casserole from the refrigerator and place it in the oven while it is preheating. Cook for 45 minutes or until firm in center.
