DIY Tropical Placemats with Burlap & Raffia

Looking for a fun and easy way to add a tropical touch to your tablescape? Look no further than these DIY raffia and burlap tropical round placemats!

These placemats are simple to make and can be customized to your liking. You can choose different burlap and raffia colors to create your unique style placemat.

Gather supplies! 

– Burlap Fabric – Elmers Glue – Raffia – Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks – Hot Glue Finger Protectors – Scissors – Jute Rope

Cut out the circle.

Cut raffia into desired length.

use hot glue to attach raffia around edges of the burlap

Continue around the edge until the raffia fringe is complete

Attach jute twine with hot glue.

Cut twine and secure the ends together.
