Dirt Road Adventures: Fall Projects and Preparing for Christmas Decorating (Yikes)
Happy Sunday, and welcome to Dirt Road Adventures! This is where we review all the exciting events behind the scenes, on the website, and the sources of inspiration I discovered online during the past week. This weekly recap ensures you don’t miss any of our adventures here at the end of our Dirt Road.
Hey friends,
We were at the beach until mid-week, and the weather was glorious. We didn’t want to come home, but medical appointments forced us back. We were able to meet and spend a little time with our new beach neighbors, and we are excited to get to know them better.
Once we were home, my new King of Christmas tree had arrived, and (don’t scream at me — yikes) we put it up. I know you think we are crazy, but we will leave at the end of October and not return until mid-November. So I plan to have my house decorated for Christmas before we leave. Now I don’t have the tree decorated, but I’m making my plans and getting my supplies together. If you saw my post about How to Prepare for Christmas Now, I’m doing all the things. I’m also planning a few new DIY projects for Christmas that I’ll be sharing just before we leave.
In health news, I am scheduled for a CT scan next week to hopefully determine what’s causing my digestive issues. I updated my Healing Journal with all the details.
