Dirt Road Adventures – Christmas Memories

As the 2020 Christmas Season draws to a close, I’m sharing some Christmas Memories.

On Dirt Road Adventures – Christmas Memories, I’m sharing a few photo’s to wrap up Christmas 2020.

Rudy is truly not a fan of being dressed for the Holiday’s!!!

I love the Christmas Season like no other, however once it’s over, I’m done.

I don’t want to see the Holiday Magazines that I’ve been pouring over all season.

I’m ready to get the house back in order and really dread putting it all away!

Then I’ll be complaining about how boring the house looks. LOL

Christmas Eve Adventures on the Dirt Road

Normally, we have my husband’s family for Christmas Eve, however it was just the four of us this year. However, we do have the 3 fur babies.

Christmas Eve Menu
  • Smoked Ribs
  • Broccoli & Cheese Casserole
  • Deviled Eggs
  • Cranberry Apple Bake – see recipe here.
  • Cranberry Pear Martini’s

Christmas Brunch on the Dirt Road

If you remember, my last post was all about our Christmas Brunch which is a new tradition for us.

The Table set for Christmas Brunch 2020

We were trying some new recipes as well as some old favorites. I thought I’d share an update about how it all went.

New Bloody Mary Recipe – Yum

The morning began with coffee and then quickly moved on to the new Bloody Mary recipe. I shared the link here, on my last post.

The cocktail was a hit while final preparations were being made to the Brunch Menu.

Crispy Bacon, Spinach & Feta Quiche, & Blueberry Pecan Pancake Bread Pudding

Luckily, everything was absolutely delicious. See my previous post for all the recipes and details.

Dirt Road Anticipation

Here, you can see our 4 Fur Babies impatiently waiting to see what Santa left in their stockings. Our son-in-law is a good sport to let me share this. LOL

The Kissing Ball Tutorial

Do you remember way back to last Tuesday, when I shared how to make a Kissing Ball. Here’s how it looks on Christmas Eve! You can see how to make your own here.

Paper Bag Snowflakes

You know these may hang around for awhile, no pun intended! LOL

I didn’t actually post about how to make these but I posted a video that you can see here. It was surprisingly the easier tutorial ever.

Christmas is a wrap

As we wrap up Christmas 2020 on The Dirt Road, I wanted to share a few of my blogger friends who have been such an inspiration and helped me to grow as a blogger this year.

These ladies are my immediate support team from Charming Homes & Gardens Link Party!

I probably wouldn’t be here without all their help. They are the best!

The last Week of the Year on The Dirt road

Your support and comments mean so much to me. Without your encouragement, I couldn’t continue on the journey. I appreciate you so much for showing up here.

I’ll be working on removing Christmas from the house and spending these last days of 2020 getting ready to start 2021 with new inspiration.

I’ll be sharing a few more posts, including a few recipes, this coming week so I hope you’ll stop back by for a final wrap up for 2020!

xoxo,

Rachel

LIz, I never mind, however this was a HomeGood Find and if you've shopped there, it's always hard to find anything a second time.

In the photo of the SIL and the 4 fur babies? Which is lovely by the way, I only see 3 fur babies or was the SIL the 4th..LOL...so sweet. I'm ready to clean up as well. I did just read that it wasn't a good thing to do before the New Years is over? I'm cleaning my porch and the "extra" things and will leave my tree and indoor wreaths...I'll save myself from any bad omen's this year as I even have. my sauerkraut ready for the New Years good luck thing too..who knows but I don't wish to repeat this year..ever! Merry Christmas!
